New Delhi, January 11: Google has again indexed the invoice links of private WhatsApp group chats, which means that anyone can search in simple and join different private chat groups. WhatsApp is making many private groups available on the web by indexing group chat invite groups, as their links can be accessed by anyone by searching on Google. Independent cybersecurity researcher Rajasekhara rajaharia shared the screenshot with IANS, which showed an index of WhatsApp group chat invites on Google.

Recently, WhatsApp faced a major security crisis when more than 4,000 links were inviting people to join private groups, which were indexed on Google. Which shows a massive data breach and anyone able to join these groups. WhatsApp spokesman Alison Boney said, “Like all content shared in searchable public channels, invoice links posted publicly on the Internet can be found by other WhatsApp users.” Also read: WhatsApp web will soon have new features, users will also be able to make video and voice calls from laptop
